MAGNAMED is a R&D and Engineering company for medical devices, It is focused in the critical care mainly in the lung ventilation area. It was founded in 1996, June 17th and is owned by a group of engineers with more than 25 years of experience. Magnamed will be always committed to its mission: "Helping Preserve Lives".

In October 2008 Fundo Criatec invested in Magnamed with the objective of keeping the main team working on their innovative design and for a rapid growth. It is a seed money funding born through the initiative of BNDES and BNB.

Products for the OEM Market was its first development and is based on innovative and state-of-the-art modules to be used in ICU and Anesthesia Ventilators. It is supported by Brazilian Fostering Agencies to carry out research and to deliver its products to the market.
